We all know what that means.).

Disappointed? Well if you live in Bangalore and wanted to go to the stadium then YES you should be.

Often the media is very critical and tries to paint bleak pictures of the state of affairs and what the real deal is; now it has come to such a point where I really don’t care. India cannot host huge events and if people feel differently, you just need to wake up and read the news paper once in a while or watch a news channel for once in your life.

It often is a major setback when you have different countries participating in a world sporting events and you can’t take care of your own people first. A country reeling under scams and scam tainted people, in over billions of dollars, the one event that truly showcases India’s Sports talent may have just turned into a money spinner.

Last I checked the prices of the tickets its absurd, let me just say its cheaper to buy a 32 inch branded LCD than to go to the match with a friend.

Unless you have relatives in the BCCI or the stadium is owned by you or you got really deep pockets i doubt you can actually legitimately "buy" a ticket.

I said 'buy' above but if your in any one of the categories up there, Hell you can get them for free.

So for all you cricketing fans out there, the best place to watch the match, is in your own house.

I hope “Stumpy” can change the world’s view of India and large sporting events or like “Shera” the tiger be on the brink of extinction.

Random Thought of the Week

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; There are a million things going on in one’s head. To channel every thought and to write something that actually makes sense to people is probably the toughest task a person can do.

Simply put writing anything in particular is difficult.

We live in a generation where communication is quite open. If you just log into the net you can see a million views posted for various articles, some diplomatic, subtle and some plain crazy and irrelevant.

People reading try to understand what is this person is trying to convey though his article? It’s not difficult to do that, what is difficult is to write stuff that you actually read.

I haven’t written many blogs, but I always do struggle with the occasional blank white page, just before I do write something that makes sense to me. I have a friend who used to work as a reporter for one of the most popular news papers in India. I used to discuss few issues with him that he used to write about and one thing that he mostly complained about was where do I begin with this subject?

I ask myself the same question. Where does one begin writing anything? I guess all it needs is one thought that you are pretty much clear with.

Human minds are quite puzzling. We may have conquered many aspects of understanding our world and the species that exist in it, but we still do not know much about our own “Noodle”.

It starts off with one thought and pretty much you make stuff up as you proceed. If you feel strongly about a particular subject or topic, am sure you will have a lot of stuff to say about it. Writing it is a whole different battle.

Sometimes, it can be so crazy that you have a thought and you have written some stuff, but it makes sense only to you. That’s when I just save my copy of whatever I have written and keep it there for a day that I have patience to look at it again.

It’s frustrating when people think writing is easy , or can actually justify what one has written , as each one of us reads in a different way and think differently , what might seem nice to one person might offend another. A good writer balances all the issues and I guess in the end tries to read his own article from a third persons point of view. That works pretty well for me.

So for people who feel writing is ‘easy as pie’, I never quite got it,

Do they mean making pie? It is really a matter of great concern
when a country cannot keep its own people in check against corruption but which country can?

The "Youngistan" generation has begun to accept it, a once behind the doors activity that got some people with money and power to achieve their own ideals.

I recently read a blog that posed an open question to Mr Ratan Tata, afer he made the dramatic and somewhat personal comment that he was once asked to pay a 15 cr bribe to setup his own airline
sometime back. The question was what has his organization done to stop corruption in India?

I would like to rephrase that question. What can any organization do to keep a socially existing through the ages and is now more open than before activity that engulfs life itself on a daily basis in check?

There is little that can be said or done, we all have experienced corruption at various levels. There are quite a few who have openly tried to deal with it, but as usual its too big a problem to get rid of .

like so many more.

It plagues our country that is counted as one of the most corrupt to get its act right.

But really on a common forum that discusses various other issues corruption has always been a hot topic. People make many speeches, hold many rallies, organize various groups, make movies mocking it, and showing us various slap on the wrist ways to fight corruption, but reality check can an organization really have that much power to change a billion people?

It sucks that we have generations of Indians growing up with the same ideas and principles that are socially unacceptable and quite frankly immoral.

Even though we have a few people brave enough to fight corruption even though they have the money and all the help possible, if a man like Ratan Tata cannot do anything about it I dont think a common person stands a chance.

There are only two things that can be done in such a scenario,

you either die a hero fighting or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

Guess that holds true to what we are witnessing today.

I have a solution which is very controversial but its worth a shot, make corruption legal, we cannot fight it, atleast we can stop complaining. have positions in the government that dont pay any salaries, there is a fixed rate to get stuff done , and that would pretty much be it.

its not operational is the slightest sense possible especially in a complex place like India.

But as oganizations grow and chrun out a lot of money , investments rise ,and the global standing of our country reaches new levels, the monster of corruption is growing too. we have very few people who are really true to their conscience and do their job, but as and when they see their own colleagues resorting to such practises they either get in to it or be thrown out. there is really no choice left to them.

It waits to be seen when, how and where the buck stops!!

North South East West .. Got War?

United States wages war in Afghanistan –“Come on now, you all have seen him hide WMDs, Right?”

Tensions mounting between North and South Korea –“You sank my Battleship”.

High level of distrust between India and Pakistan – “India in Afghanistan to attack us. I Knew it!!”
.
Pakistan indirectly wages war in Afghanistan and in its own Borders- “Hey we are doing something , Aright? Back off!!

India and Maoists- “You slap me I blow you up”

Britain in Afghanistan Fighting Terrorists – “Ok USA, We have nothing else to do so might as well…”

India in Afghanistan –“hey I am trying to help my friend America here"

China breaches India border line-They were feeling left out.

Israel and Gaza – have they ever not fought in existence?

So these are some of the news (or mostly what one sees) on a day to day basis. People or rather countries on the verge of fighting or in the battle ground already. One thing that the war in Afghanistan has made clear to the world is that you cannot have your cake and eat it too. USA or rather Bush and now Obama at the moment, are yet to taste the icing.
Though most of the fighting is for World Peace, is it going anywhere? Are people feeling more secure, safe and are people really free?

One thing is for certain; all of the countries fighting Terror Groups in Afghanistan may have reduced the number of terrorist attacks but have not yet figured out how to stop them once and for all. It’s not easy but sometimes I feel in this age of technology and countries possessing so much military strength and financial backing , still find it difficult to track down one person responsible for almost everything bad going on in this world.

Countries have not only started to panic for obvious reasons but are going into overdrive. No one feels safe anymore. People live in some countries not knowing if they will see another day alive. It can no longer be termed as ‘Fear’; it has unfortunately become a way of life.

You might have seen the movie “A Wednesday” where naseeruddin shah plays the role of a normal middle class person, who takes on the government’s lenient approach to terrorists and in turn blows them up. That movie has triggered many discussions whether people termed as terrorists deserve to have rights. Recently the lone terrorist involved in the Times Square Plot has clearly shunned all ideas that America after 9 11 , in spite of beefing up security 1000 fold , still can be penetrated and with ease. He unfortunately being a citizen of USA was given rights which for reasons unknown were waived by him.

As tony stark(iron man) once said “Peace means having a bigger stick than the other guy”, holds true to what all countries feel like.
I often wonder, do the people who are on the other side know what they do are bad? Because just how we feel they are bad and we are good, they may feel that we are bad and they are good!

Terrorism remains to be the most sensitive and dangerous form of all problems the world faces at this moment. This can very much trigger a war that will see countries take sides. Hardly have I felt the terrorists are acting on their own. We may not know much but there are powerful people and countries backing them. It’s not possible for so many people to go unnoticed unless there was someone more powerful than them shielding their every move. Unfortunately you can’t go around pointing at people when you don’t have enough proof.

People will go to any length to seek a possible solution to the worlds never ending problems. But bear in mind that these problems are not ordinary and they require not only time but also a lot of money, people and commitment to continue the fight until the end. After the first war against weapons of mass destruction happened, people were happy momentarily, but the glaring fact remains that the war has not yet been won, it has just started.

I fail to see what solutions we can achieve with the direction this world is heading to. Not only are we fighting against certain groups but we are fighting against time too. We may very well win the war on terrorism some day but at what cost? It still remains to be seen.

Rather than trying to grab headlines with what little progress countries seem to be making in their own respective fights. I doubt we will see a day when everything stops and people promote life, more than anything else.

Me being mostly skeptical about what I just said above, believe that unless you have the most biggest powerful weapon that human kind has ever known, will the world actually take notice of you and do as you say.

For some the weapon might just be Love.

But again being skeptical of what I just said it has been proved that “Fear is more powerful than Love”.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://randomlyhyderabad.blogspot.com/2010/05/north-south-east-west-got-war.html' title='North South East West .. But there’s always something happening here, some good things but mostly bad. India has in more ways than one, again has raised its rather confused head and is eyeing the top spot in the world while still missing the bigger picture.

I was thinking for quite some time about some of the events happening, it is very surprising to witness how the govt seems to be tacking the naxal problems while being totally clueless about how to really reach a possible peaceful solution. Sometimes it’s good that there is democracy here, but when so many people are involved it’s very difficult to understand who is actually running the show.

While all these political games are being played India’s biggest threat is not from terrorists anymore it is undoubtedly the naxal problem and this may continue to drag India down from reaching the top spot.
We see so much development in some areas and cities and not an ounce of it in most places. People fail to understand that unless everything is developed, unless people are educated with basic stuff, India cannot move forward. I don’t doubt we are being eyed by other countries as being hesitant to come here and setup businesses as many have taken the risk of doing it and have been dealing with unthinkable problems. In the longer run, we as a developing country will stagnate and not see any progress at all; come to think of it we have been a “Developing Country” for quite some time now.

With success comes its own weird set of problems and it’s the Indian public that is facing the heat. Consider the recent Plane crash in Mangalore, no sooner that it happened the airways minister put in his resignation. It does not make sense for someone who needs to step up and figure out what exactly happened than to turn his back and run. This is where I don’t like democracy; there are so many people who have no work but to drag others down. It’s one thing doing your job and it’s quite another fighting all the time trying to keep it. We tend to see this in all aspects of work even though it may not be as serious as dealing with lives like few organizations do.

Come to think of it no place is perfect and people are learning to live and take each day as it comes, rather sad way to live though but like one says its lonely at the top, might as well enjoy all the company and comforts one has before it gets too complicated.
And for all those who wish to see the real India, you will find us living in "perfect harmony amidst total chaos".

Black-Fast the "in" thing . r u "in"?

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; People especially politicians in AP have a lot of time to fret about and play games. Especially games that involve fasting (AP will probably have less food prices and the healthiest population now that everyone is fasting). Fasting is the new fad, if you’re not doing it you probably have a brain left.

Pretty soon I feel people will start fighting for their own houses and apartments to be declared as separate states. In such a case I want my house to be declared a separate country. I decided to fast in between the 3 meals that I have everyday. I believe that there needs to be facts for any struggle, mostly here the facts are over shadowed by this drama called "Black- Fast” (blackmailing with the threat of fasting and it rhymes with Breakfast). Here it seems like politicians are awakening a monster which they will not be able to control once its let loose and what they don’t know is they can’t escape it either. In simple, plain, understandable, factual, history proven, fact of this issue is its Pointless.

People need to understand that dividing states will not result in the kind of development that they desire; to develop a part of the state is in the hands of the government. And by dividing the states it might not exactly work out the way you thought it would. Look at it this way, if everyone did want a divided state then there needs to be a plan, there needs to be a better person than KCR to initiate it, first develop a strong dialogue, try to set aside such drastic measures and then if it didn’t work then think about a separate state. Don’t blackmail, damage, threaten, wreak the peace and stop colleges and schools and businesses from functioning. It is only getting us madder at this problem.

In the whole scene, Hyderabad is the “Bakra”. Looking at this scenario I don’t want to be associated with Telangana or Andhra. Ultimately when this problem does settle down, everyone who is anyone who supported either of these causes will definitely be in for a nasty surprise. India better be alert now. i think the slightest bit of provocation could very well lead to a world war .it is extreme but also a fact.

I am growing sick of all the shit for quite sometime now. Screw peace . how will there be peace in this world and an end to all the problems if no one compromises or is happy with negotiations.

quote: "When you have the upper hand. Tight."

There are too many problems in this world. one side the economy refuses to raise anymore. countires are fighting global warming. people are forming their own governments cause there arent any good ones(Naxals). there are no jobs. prices of everything from toothpicks to clean air is rising . theres no water in someplaces and there is too much in some others. MAN (being the reason)!! when will all this shit come to an end?

Everyone says the new generation should be more responsible and blah-- but all i can see the new generation doing is becoming the old ,screwing this planet and thrusting this shit onto another generation of people who will do the same again.

life according to me has always been complicated in many ways. we try to make it simple ,but that ends up complicating it further. People need to think for themselves and act in order to see some change . You might meet so many people who are so worried about what others think of them , or how their actions will embarrass them or something like that . i say who gives a shit. Think for yourself. think of how you can make a difference do not consult with anyone else . JUST DO IT.

if man has emerged as the single most intelligent being on this planet , its for a reason and thats because we can do what no other creature on this planet can---make a difference.

Will Big Br(o)ther come to the rescue?

India seems to annoyingly lean on the USA for diplomatic solutions to its problems. Well its not a bad idea actually but how much more can USA do for us?. Considering USA is pressurizing Pak to act on stuff they very well are reluctant to is answer enough that India's strategy is not working.

Considering we have come this far in the world where countries actually cant push us around, i don't think India's stand on using USA to fix its problems is the step that will help us in the long run.

India has so many problems that its not funny. Banking on the worlds Superpower might be the answer for some problems but look at the fact , its not working.

Its been quite sometime since the terrorist attacks in mumbai , what has happened until now ? Pak in the beginning refused to accept the terrorists as their own and all this blaming and mud slinging happened in the media for the next few months and then a breakthrough . This breakthrough would have happened earlier if India took a tough stance against pak. Bottom line is until India shows the world what its capable of i don't think we will command any respect from any one (whats the deal with Australians?). USA on one hand knows that if they get us mad it would result in the end of the world, but there are such things called as Limits which are being stretched as every single day passes by. India has been a very patient, non-violent spectator to most of threats that come across since independence, sure we reacted sometimes but we didn't get a solution for any of the huge problems that still exist.

Look at it this way , we have everything that a country needs (basically) for no one to mess with us. America was the first one to take notice and see that they did all they can before India got mad . I don't think that was the right thing to do. If USA is playing big brother to India in its time of need , then it would be fair for India to see some results. Being patient is India's thing , but time is running out. IF things don't settle with Pak backing off and getting its shit together, then we might as well gear up to handle things Desi style.

Ego

Existence is only a word,
I define it,
Life is only a term,
I personify it,
Power can be dangerous,
I command it,
The zenith of this world is merely a mountain,
With two hands afold,i can see the top,
Just a small step here and a jump there,
Well what do u know,
The pinnacle is wayyy down there :P

A lil sth sth on the side.

It s been quite some time before i could gather my thoughts on whats been happening all this while. Not much has changed, things have gone worse actually. Recently there was this competition at work for Independence day where we were asked to make a collage of what freedom meant to us. So 3 of us got together and started pondering on that question, cause i never actually thought about it until then. Well as usual all the cliched problems of india -- govt, crime, corruption, civic sense et al came up and finally it came to such a point where the question changed to are we really free? in this time and age.

62 years have passed since we drove the british out of our lands but all this time we didnt change. dont get me wrong, there has been rapid growth in various sectors of the economy and cities have literally transformed in front of our eyes. but how free is an Indian in India? One of my collegues said India is free but not every Indian.

Is there any truth in that statement? I wonder.

I see that religion still has a political agenda to it, governments have never been worse , people are still pretty much the same and cant say much about the develoment. sometimes i think we would have been better off not driving the british away. Am i free to even think this? or arent i?

so finally we managed to pool our thoughts and we made this collage that may not entirely explain What freedom means to me but i hope it gets the point across.

Happy Independence day everyone!

Traffic 'Views'

Everyone complains about it , it’s the one thing that no one can escape, people dread it , it’s a real pain in the ass ,no matter what you do ,or needs to be done , it’s always an issue. If you still don’t get it, it’s quite obvious I am talking about traffic. It’s the only thing that really puts the every Indian to the test every single day for the rest of his life. You go through so many emotions when you drive on our roads, right from happiness that you are at least moving (even though that might be at 8 km/hr),anger that the other guy in front of you cut u off or is blocking you or is just too lazy to give you enough space to squeeze your vehicle through and finally road rage ,where you snap at everyone and make a scene on the road to justify whatever u did as right!

Traffic is a big issue when it comes to doing anything in life. Even the smallest simplest things need tons of planning in order to avoid traffic. I was coming to work in the morning today, and I pass through the same roads every single day (boring!). thank god I don’t drive in Bangalore , but I pity the people who do. I was stuck in the same traffic jam I get stuck in every single day and I was trying to figure out what caused the jam in the first place?

As we inched closer to the spot to what caused the jam, I was surprised to see a bunch of people on their bikes and cars trying to cross the road and in the process formed a barricade halfway in the middle of it. . They did not have place to join in the other side of the road as it was jammed there as well for some other reason (which is actually because of them). So I began to think about what an everyday driver would think of doing in a situation like this, and finally I concluded with categorizing Indian drivers into 4 categories(Technically of course).

The “Initiator”.

These are the people who do not have patience to wait at signals or follow traffic rules just because they have work which is more important that living or avoiding accidents. I have put them in the first category because they are the leaders of the group.

The ‘yes-men’ who blindly follow the initiator.

Yeah that pretty much explains their actions.

The “if they can go why can’t I” people.

These are usually the people knowing that they will cause a jam, stroll in slowly with their brains trying to make a decision whether to actually go in or wait (these people usually come in front of your car/bike) .

And finally there are the Dumbasses.

These people usually find themselves trailing behind the above 3 categories blocking all the traffic and also move along with the group and actually think they are intelligent enough to get away with it, you can curse them, blow your horn and all they will do is smile and look the other way cause that’s what a dumbass does.

So if you do fit one of these categories good for you as you because one good thing about being in one of these categories is that you are now certified to drive anywhere in the world-Safely, other than India of course.

And if you do not belong to any of the above groups , please keep your eyes out for them when you drive( for your own safety).

T.H.I.N.K again!

To think has become a problem for most of us. We have calculators doing our math, pda’s and smart phones that manage our contacts and phone numbers, electronic chips that drive our cars and ‘intellisense’ machines that do the wash. All this is supposed to help us in our day to day ‘tasks’.
Just finished reading an article on the next big 5 from IBM which will revolutionize the way people live in the next 5 years. Impressive! Also a lot of consequences to be faced with in the days to come.
Most of the products and technologies that IBM is proposing to develop / are already under development are outstanding. We will have an internet we can talk to, an application that will predict ur entire life’s health, digital shopping assistants which will sell stuff to u online while u check out items to shop for and finally a ‘search’ function that keeps track of all your moves everyday so that u won’t forget to remember sth ,or forget anything anymore . Impressive right. Right…
There is no escaping the fact that our lives are completely dependent on gadgets (I can’t live without my laptop and cell phone), but down the line, it’s not only going to be us who will be using these new technologies, but also the future generations.
Dependency should not go to such a level where we don’t control what and how machines think, when we are allowing ourselves to let machines make decisions for us it should not enter every sphere of life.
We write the code ,we develop the software’s and we induce the bugs, fine as a developer one actually has to put in a lot of thought in order to develop such a program , but the end user just uses it. His brain is being forced not to think much. I don’t remember half of the phone numbers on my cell, I don’t even bother writing them down somewhere, cause I have a ‘backup’ on my laptop. Don’t u feel that people are going to just stop thinking sometime in the future? When we are placing so many of our thoughts into doing what machines ask us to do, don’t u think we could also be controlled?
We already have GPS systems telling us the way. if the GPS system was tampered with or has a bug in it ,it will lead u to the wrong places ,and then u won’t be mentally equipped to think out a solution because ur mind is not trained to think and make decisions ,but it’s just dependent on the technology to make those decisions for you.
I have nothing against advancements in the field of technology, but it’s just that the products people come up with ,even though are useful to some ,I just feel that mans natural ability to think and make decisions will become a major task to perform(maybe it can even be an Olympic event).
The children of the future will just be puppets in the hands of technology, they won’t be able to make a simple decision on which candy bar they would want , they might just ask the comp to figure out the statistics that make that particular candy bar good enough ,by searching through blog entries and chemical analysis files, with the taste responses survey made in the 19th century and finally end up eating something else.
Making that decision was a piece of cake. right?

Arrrrrrr.......--------------The Pirates are Here

We have all seen them in movies, heard about them in stories and read about them in books. I for one didn’t expect them to exist in this century.
The recent attack on ships by pirates in the gulf of Eden surprises me. In an age where Indians are launching satellites and landing on moons, in an age where technology has always made it a point to redefine itself in more ways than one, in an age where nothing is impossible (Adidas:P) I least expected some shitty pirates with lousy weapons to scare nations more powerful and technologically more equipped to feel the heat.
It just shows us that there are gaping loopholes in the things we take for granted. We always thought nothing could happen in the seas where we have navy ships from all over the world patrolling their territories. Well something must be wrong cause there have already been many hijackings in the same area. For the first time India has stepped up and actually surprised me by acting fast and tackling this problem, are the other countries sleeping? or are they waiting for something worse to happen.
Recently when one of the ships carrying some Indian crew was hijacked , a ransom was paid to the tune of a few millions(really cheap!), apparently that’s what the press releases stated, that the amount was undisclosed , this raises a few questions in my already full head, what is going to be done with all that ransom money, will it be used to fund more activities of hijacking in the seas ,and maybe even move the business into foreign waters ,where they can hijack more ships and get more money?
The other serious question that comes to my head is what if this is just the tip of the iceberg, what if this money is used to organize terrorist activities in various countries all over the world?
The irony of this situation is we are paying for them to do all this shit. I guess we just take a lot of things for granted, now that the Indian navy is pulling off heroic rescues and blasting the pirate ships out of the ocean, I won’t be surprised if India receives threats from the Somalians soon. Not that we have enough problems on our hands already.
The problem with this world is people don’t react unless something pricks them hard enough for them to notice that there is a problem.
looking at the present scenario ,i guess we all have really thick skins.

CHANGE is what the world needs.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 192px; height: 134px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_K41yxdgZyJs/SRFAq22ScTI/AAAAAAAABmQ/8X4TT1SEyoA/s320/www.reuters.com.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5265060544394719538" />
It might not have come as a surprise to many of us that Barack Obama has won the elections to be the first ever African American president of the united states, but it did surprise me to know that john McCain also managed to get a few votes. Which actually tells us that this man did try to be the next president of the United States and actually convinced people to vote for him :).
Considering now that the most expensive election campaign in the United States ever to take place is over, it now places a huge burden on Obama to actually walk the talk. If statistics are to be taken into consideration, Obama’s rise in popularity had come as soon as the economic crisis hit the United States and the world.
This shows that all his talk about change needs to be put into action. His policies on improving the economic crisis are drastic and need a major change in the existing system, the war with Iraq needs a major overhaul and the current terrorist situation needs a firm stand, the hope that he has given the world will be put to the test.
What needs to be done right now, is very crucial for the entire economy of the world. Mr. Obama has found himself with quite a handful as soon as he takes the position of president. The world might also see a friendlier USA in the next year.
A quote from Mr. Obama’s speech
“The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even one term, but America -- I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there," he said. Let’s just hope we All get there soon.
India’s major concerns are also at stake, the recent nuclear deal with the USA might now be compromised, it still waits to be seen how Mr. Obama’s ideas and policies on outsourcing will affect the growing IT industry in India.
This year has been one of the worst that the world have ever experienced with both man-made and natural calamities (also man-made), we did see some major setbacks and fallout's, and now we have placed our faith in the hands of one man who might just Change everything , maybe that’s what the world needs after all ,a makeover!

one huge popularity contest for the WORLD!

<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; THATS ENOUGH!!!

One more year, one more festival, a tank full of plaster of Paris, garlands and basically a lot of trash. All those people who are environmentally conscious will have fought the war but have lost the battle, if u still don’t know what I am talking abt? its the immersion that will soon take place in tank bund.
Centuries has passed ,but no one has come up with a solution to this problem. Fine we all love our dear lord ganesh and would want to do the immersion in great style and pomp, but at what cost. Screwing up the environment and thinking that nothing is going to happen is ignoring the hugeeee problem people. We cant obviously place our faith in the so called government, cause evey year they say sth and don’t stick up to what they say. So this problem will never end until and unless we the people of Hyderabad do something abt it. Cleaning up the tank bund is a mammoth task. But we all need to realize the fact that it’s the only thing close to a water body that we’ve got and its out sole responsibility to try and protect it with whatever power we possess. So clay ganeshas ur time has come to shine. And no offence to the p.o.p ones ,but even though we love u ,it might lead to dangerous situations. So lets all say “P.O.P! that’s enough!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://randomlyhyderabad.blogspot.com/2008/09/pop-thats-enough.html' title='POP! Airtel recently announced that the much publicized and scarcely available I phone is going to be given to prospective buyers on emi basis( just kidding).
ok, I don’t know what’s wrong here I mean , first of all u get a phone , as of my current knowledge is available for as much as 8grand in the usa, and sell it here for as little as 31grand and they actually expect people to literally buy it in bulk? Either the cellular companies are living in a false reality called “moolah land” or we are actually loaded ! well jokes apart ,the I phone is being given on a monthy emi basis for 3009rs per month for one year,so for all those who really want a touch screen phone with no message forwarding option please make airtel happy. Well forget the I phone for a sec, its not that great at all, but I should give credit to nokia for making a really cool e71. which has everything except a touch screen ,now we cant get too touchy on that , can we?

cant get enough of rock on? watch the movie, but please dont act like a wannabe rockstar!

well people ,it looks like bollywood finally has a winner in the debut section dosent it.Farhan akthar with his first release seems to do really well .well compliments apart to the movie "rock on", it is a good movie and something really authentic and different .Atleast we dont have pritam copy the music from say rolling stones or metallica. If that really happened we would call that movie "copy on" or sth like that. But stupid jokes apart, the one question that is on my mind is whats wrong with the people or i should say "youth" of hyderabad.its one thing going to watch rock on at the nearest theatre near your place ,but another thing looking at all the poeple dressed up like they were in the movie.god knows doing what cause i definitely didnt see them even in the crowds that were present in the movie! PEOPLE if u do come across whatever is written here ,please we dont dress up as batman or superman to go watch the movie when it releases.so please the main objective of ur life is to be yourself. we have enough people trying to be something they are not .moral of the story- dont be a wannabe but want to be something different.unlike all our bollywood movies and their songs.

Have your prayers been answerd yet?

Well considering we didnt have such a good start to the rainy season, i guess now things look damn good, dont they? sometime back people prayed their asses off for rain ,and those were the times we didnt have a single drop fall from the sky other than peoples mouths(corny! i know). But now we see soo much rain sometimes i feel "man please enough".
guess we prayed for good rains ,but who the hell prayed for a good government? as soon as the first spell of rain has fallen on our citys potless roads and flawless drainage system we saw how much damage it can cause to life itself.People have died .half of the city is under drainwater .our cars are screwed .our houses abandoned.and much much more .so for all the people who did a lot of yagnas and prayers .please we have had enough .let nature take its course ,the last thing we would want to interfere with our lives is some divine intervention!
